Halo sounds like fun but it's been so long.  What patch does everyone run nowadays?

I was going to recommend you use Unity for rapid prototyping then move to UDK, but Unity 4 is in beta and the Linux/DX11 support looks appealing.  My issue with it has been the upfront pricing for full use and the lack of rendering and content creation tools UDK has.  What kind of project are you guys creating?

Yes, I have crossed it a few years ago on the way to the USS Hornet Museum in SF Bay.  I recommend you check it out if you ever pass by again.  I think I still have pictures laying around somewhere.

Honestly I think most of that is unnecessary if it's going to dissolve into a gaming community.  As Hambone structured, sort of, it should be Leaders > Admins > Members with open invitation to join.  Just keep it simple.

Apple is in the process of setting up their own tower system that will supply inexpensive phone call and unlimited data at a reduce rate for anyone owning more than two Apple devices.

They will have all major cities i operation by 2014 and remote areas by 2016.

It will force all vendors to cut their rates by 50%

Why?  If LightSquared can resolve it's gps interference issue, Apple would have wasted money by doing that.

PC Related Stuff/Questions / Re: Looking to replace my monitor
« on: October 14, 2011, 03:23:02 pm »
I'm using that ASUS monitor now and it's been pretty good so far for the past year.  It has all three outputs and built in speakers, but the speakers are terrible so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't already have speakers or a good sound card.  Other than that, the picture is really clear, contrast is great, and I love it for gaming.

Edit: I just noticed that that version has LED back lighting so that's better than the one I bought last year.  Paid the same price for the 21.5'.

And I just talked to them a few days ago and they told me there would be no changes.  What's the point of using a debit card if you get charged on it like you do with credit cards?  And where did the $5Billion Warren Buffet invested in BOA go?

General Chat / Re: AIDS Vaccine Breakthrough
« on: September 27, 2011, 03:04:55 am »
If this turns out good then maybe a cure/vaccine for Cancer is hopeful as well?

Well no, because cancer is not exactly a disease, it's more of a condition and caused by many things.  AIDS is a std and should technically be curable and is 100% preventable.  My issue with this is what Drizz mentioned, affordability.  Billions of dollars have been spent on medical research and yet some of the drugs/vaccines scientists have created cost hundreds to thousands of dollars per dose.  That's a ridiculous price range.

I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64, and had no changes in the last updates, maybe it's a version issue.

Don't be so sure about that flash.

Probably the games will be cross platformed (some of them) and can be played together on xbox and pc.
But when you want it on the PC and already have it on the xbox i'm almost sure that you must buy a second copy.

How do they see it?
You have game on Xbox, want to play it on the PC to, buy it again for PC. Cuz when you have both you can't play both at the same time, or wait... yes you can. With a friend of yours ;)
So you're still buying to games, even when they are crossplatformed

Not necessarily.  Any game you buy from steam or steam-compatible can be re-downloaded any time you want.  Even the cross-platformed ones like Team Fortress.  I don't know if this sounds that great because there's not that many good xbox games, unless they want to go Steam's route and cater to everyone.
