Sounds like a badass system, aside from the Rosewill.  I've ordered 3 Rosewill products from Newegg, and all 3 were DOA.

I'd need all the details to truly form a solid opinion on this one, most importantly; was there anyone other than those "playing the game", that was at the bus stop, and was struck or that could have easily been stuck by a BB?  The article mentions that one of the kids playing was getting hit with BBs roughly 10 ft from the bus stop.  But if it was just them, and no "innocent bystanders" at the bus stop... (and they weren't shooting the bus stop sign, school property) what's the problem???

That's the only scenario in which I could possibly justify the school taking any action about, or for that matter, even giving any acknowledgement to, the fact that a few kids were playing with BB guns, at any location that isn't the school.

If a school has a zero tolerance policy for certain activities, that's fine.  But that lack of tolerance is ONLY applicable when said prohibited activity is taking place on school property.

A school has NO authority to make rules governing the behavior of a student when they are not not on school property.
A school has NO business knowing anything about what goes on on the private property of a student's guardian (aside from suspected child abuse/neglect, etc).
A school has NO right to take action against a student based on any activities taking place on the private property of the student's guardian, and here's the even bigger point...  whether that activity is legal or otherwise.

If it's NOT school time, and
It's NOT school property,
It's NOT school business.

What really concerns me, regardless of whether it's any of the school's business or not, is that the kids may be getting not only stuck with an expulsion (being kicked out of the school completely for OFF campus activities) for a reason categorized as "possession, handling and use of a firearm"...  are they $@*#&% serious?  A BB gun is an air TOY, not a firearm.  Can they be dangerous?  Absolutely.  So can lawn darts, horseshoes, and many other common children's playthings enjoyed for several generations.  In fact, if you were to throw a lawn dart or horseshoe at, or shoot a BB at someone, the former are going to do far more damage.  The permanent school record of a BB gun weilding child, even if they WERE on school property, should not carry a charge equal to that of a potential school shooter, suspected gang member, or anyone else who would actually deserve such a charge, for bringing a REAL effing gun into the school, or shooting a REAL gun within feet of an occupied school bus stop.  For a BB gun, it should be no more than a suspension, and the "charge" categorized as "possession, handling, and use of a TOY gun, in violation of the school's zero tolerance policy against guns (/weapons/whatever else they're intolerant of)"

This entire thing sounds like it started with a call to 911 from a neighbor who saw a young teenager with a gun and freaked out.  The 911 operator should have sent the police to investigate, just as a precaution, like they would any other report of gun being fired, and if any illegal activities had taken/were taking place and needed to be dealt with (of which none were mentioned in the article), they should have been dealt with by the cops at that point.  The school's zero tolerance policy, completely irrelevant to the situation.

The camera broke on my friends one month old iPhone 5.

Apple told her they would replace the phone, then after she sent it in, they told her they wouldn't replace it, because it had water damage.

The phone has never once been exposed to water.

She's switching to Android and a new carrier as soon as her contract is up.

F*** Apple.

As for call centers, I've worked in many.  The hardest part of the job is trying to explain policy to the customer when you really do wish there was more you could do for them.

Yeah, it's called "The Sacrifice" because there's supposed to be no chance for the survival of the person who jumps down to refill the generator.

Never tried it in singleplayer though.  I would imagine bots don't offer themselves up as a sacrifice often...

They just discovered a fish that has a penis for a chin a few days ago.  That's pretty new life to us.
