Lots of info at

Extract anywhere (I put mine in F:\Halo) and Run DewritoUpdater.exe to start. Be sure to set your Name under Player Customization. (You also customize your armor and colors there but that is best done once the game is started by pressing ALT+Tab to show the launcher, you can then change those options and see the results in real time).

Menus are navigated in game with the Arrow Keys and Enter. Server Browser is just click.

I know you are a big mac guy and I generally love your sarcastic responses.

So, can I get some tips/suggestions for the proud new owner of a brand new Macbook Pro 13in. Whether it be about the hardware itself or OS X anything would be helpful. I have messed around with an iMac at work for about the past 2 months(started using it to do all my research at work in anticipation of getting the MBP), even still I don't know all that much.

BTW here is what I am looking at for a desktop atm :D

PC Related Stuff/Questions / Hackintosh for Class Project
« on: March 10, 2010, 05:27:19 pm »
I had to do a hardware related project for one of my Information Technology classes. So, I decided to install OS X on my Eee PC 900. May not seem all that hardware related but I had to replace the wireless card in the netbook in order to get working wireless.

End Result is everything working including sound and wireless.

Runs pretty fast even with the low end hardware....surprisingly faster than my install of Xubuntu

Did unfortunately break my already breaking keyboard in the process....but now I finally have an excuse to replace it and it was only $15 directly from Asus.

If you are interested I am attaching the powerpoint that I am going to use for my presentation which includes pictures from the wireless card replacement.

PowerPoint is too big so I will just post one of the more interesting pictures.

So I will be purchasing my new computer at the end of the month and wanted to get some final input from you guys.....This is the build I have so far.

Processor 288.99

Motherboard 254.99

Power Supply (850W) 149.99

Ram x 2 94.99ea

HDD x 2 74.99ea

CPU Cooler 55.40

Case 159.99

DVD Burner 25.99

Total not including vid card 1275.31

Now atm I am waiting on making a final pick on the vid card....I will either end up with an GTX285 or a GTX295 just depends on if newegg gets the 295 from EVGA in stock or not(its in stock now but I don't want to jump the gun). If I go with the GTX285 I will be looking to pick up another and run SLI in the near future....Both cards can be seen here.

Thanks guys  :supz:

Well today instead of reading Chapter 4 for my COM101 class I decided to watch an episode of South Park. I watched the episode "Sexual Harassment Panda". After finishing watching the episode I opened up my book for a quick skim through of the chapter so I could be slightly prepared for our whopping 2 point quiz. First thing I see in big bold letters......"Sexual Harassment" all I could do was I'm off to take that 2 point quiz lawl. (just did a speech the other day that was worth 100pts to put the worth of 2 points into perspective)

General Chat / Perspective.
« on: February 12, 2009, 10:07:42 pm »
So, as many of you may have seen this weekend I will be making a substantial purchase in the form of a brand new 32inch samsung tv. I was all ready to get home hang with my family and have the big highlight of my weekend be dropping the cash and knowing that when I go home for spring break a brand new TV will be waiting for me.

When I got back to my dorm room after work today I quickly packed up my stuff, played a few games of halo 3 with reizin, and readied myself for what I thought was going to be a semi memorable weekend. As I was finishing up my homework for my history class I received a call from my mom. My grandfather has been fighting cancer recently and to my knowledge had been doing well after going through Chemotherapy.

As you may have been thinking my knowledge was completely incorrect. In the words of the doctor, "It may be a few days or it may be a few months." For me this will be my first major loss of a family member. As I am sitting here in my dorm room thinking of all the good times I have had with my grandfather I am realizing just how much my weekend has changed.

What was going to be a weekend where I went home hung out with friends and family and then capped it all off with a substantial purchase has completely changed. It has changed into something much more meaningful. This weekend may very well be the last time I see my grandfather and may also become one of my most precious memories.

I guess the biggest thing that has come out of all this thinking for me is a slight change in my perspective on life. I mean I have always held my family above all my other priorities in life and I know that they are what is most important to me. The real change in perspective is just the realization that even the littlest things can create beautiful memories and that every second I spend with my family is a second that I will always hold near and dear to my heart.

I am sure that I will still make the now minuscule purchase of a new tv at some point over my stay at home but no longer will that be what I remember this weekend for. I will always remember this weekend as a family weekend and as a weekend that I will spend with one of the greatest men I know.

thanks for reading....really just feels good to get all of my thoughts written down.

General Chat / Goodbye all.
« on: January 11, 2009, 08:23:33 pm »
For me this has been building up for some time and I recently attempted to see if going inactive would help me fix what I feel is wrong. What it comes down to for me is that I need to put a lot more time into class work and I want the little time I do use for gaming to be fun time. Recently I have not been having fun. So, I will now resign from BC in hopes that the freedom will allow me to have the fun that I have been lacking as of late. I will say that for me BC was the best clan experience I have had in all of my gaming history and I am sure it will be that way for many new people who are looking for a place where they can meet good people and make good friends online. I am sure I will stop in the servers from time to time to see how everyone is doing so see you all in game.

Thanks for the good times,

Other Games / PSP
« on: January 06, 2009, 02:13:12 pm »
I know that both Sheen and Assassin have PSPs but I was wondering if anyone else had one. My brother has had one for a long time and I have always liked it. Not too long ago I stepped on it and broke the LCD screen. Being the cheap ass that I am, I opted to replace the screen myself since it was much less than sending it to sony. By opening the PSP I would end up voiding the already expired warranty(lol) so afterwords I decided to get custom firmware so that emulators and other goodies could be played on the system. Once my friend got the custom firmware going the system became completely different. My like for it became much me it had almost become the ultimate gaming hub. All the games that I had missed out on in the past had become available to me on, NES, Snes, Genesis, Gameboy/Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance. Since that time I had been considering getting one of my own but just never had the money at a good time. So, this Christmas after I received a bunch of money from relatives as well as fixing people's computers around the neighborhood I decided to go buy one. Got the PSP Slim used from gamestop for 139.99(new ones currently have no way of using custom firmware) along with an 8gb memory stick pro duo. I am having a great time with the system and figured I would share what I have done with the with it so far with everyone here at BC.

The first thing I did is install the custom firmware using a pandora battery and a magic memory stick.(had to use my brother's psp for help on this one) As seen in the screenshot I am running firmware 5.00 M33-4 which is the newest available from team M33.

This screenshot shows the custom theme I am using. Basically exactly the same as normal but I did not like the PSN network symbol so this theme replaces it with one that fits the whole setup better.(symbol replaced is the farthest to the right).

Now for the GAEMz.

First shot shows the only UMD I bought when I got the system.....Wipeout Pure

These are the shots of the games I have on my memory stick...

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Everyday Shooter
