what does dropped down to normal mean
My eye sight was at least 20/10, during my early years.  20/10 is the smallest letters on the eye chart which is the bottom line or line 11 on the Snellen chart.  20/20 is normal, which is line 8.  6/6 is the norm for the rest of the world.  So in away you could say my eye sight went up to normal, if you are talking only about the chart.  :tongue1:

I was in my mid thirties when my vision drop down to normal, and it drove me nuts for a couple years. It would come and go, so every time it would drop  to normal I would feel like things where just a little blurred, a little fur around the edges of words, for example, very aggravating! I finally tried a pair of drug store glasses, that provided very minimal magnification and that seemed to help.  They only run about 10 bucks and if nothing else they are handy for small work.

P.S. I forgot to say, I tried prescription first and they didn't work as well as the cheap ones. Good luck.

Good to see ya Okra!  Yes, corn is right there are only a few that still pop in from time to time. I still play games on a daily basis, although not nearly as much as a few years ago. Maybe an hour or two a day.  War Thunder is what I'm currently spending time with.  I'll check out your you tube channel and see what your up to. :)

I really like the game.  I have always really liked any game that had flying involved, from simple arcade style to extreme DCS's, so for me it's a win all the way around.  I guess this game is best described as a rock, paper, scissors kind of game play, that you can spend as little or as much money as you desire.  Putting money in the game gains no real advantage, it just provides a way to advance to higher levels faster, or buy decals and etc.  It is very newb friendly, providing an arcade mode which you can use just the mouse or mouse and keyboard to very effectively fly without any knowledge of how to fly a real plane. Then it has other modes Historic and For Real which you can use flight controls from basic joy sticks to your most complex and expensive flight control systems.  It's still in beta but that's mainly because they are still adding human controlled tanks and ships to the game play.  Tanks are in closed beta at the moment and will probably be released after the first of the year.  What is hard to explain is why it has captured the interest of so many die hard first person shooter players, especially those from games that require correct physics of weapons usage.  It is diffidently a game that if you pre judge, without giving it a try, you may miss out on something that turns out special, and sticks around for many years.  It's a great platform for just an evening of pubbing or can be used for clan style competition, that has embraced the next generation of graphics and gaming hardware, and is attracting new players from all corners of the gaming community.  So if your bored with the COD / Battlefield type games, you should give this one a try.

Now addicted but I have only been playing arcade battles. My in game name is still SwampGod
I guess I should look beyond the shot box more often.  Hey SwampGod!  I'll look for you in game. I too have become pretty addicted to this one. AB is crazy fun, and I'm sure the game will be around long enough to grow into HB and maybe FRB.  But at the moment I'm having too much fun with arcade to worry about it.  :)

I've had a Rosewill 750w bronze, for about 3 years now.  Plenty stable for overclocking etc.  But the first one I received lasted about an hour and literally burned up, it was smoking!  Only took about a week to get it replaced.  Great price on Newegg, probably the one your looking at.    Looks to be a great gaming rig. I'm jealous! ;)

I had to back off a little bit, and force myself to play a couple other games.  I don't want to get to the point of doing nothing but playing just one game and nothing else again.  I've have been building my countries evenly, so I'm up to all 4 and one 5, it helps with managing repair and ammunition cost.  Thankfully time alone can take care of that with no real money being used, but it still can be a real challenge.  I really haven't changed my feelings about pay as you go mmo's but this one, this one may just make me eat my words.  They are putting together a really good piece of work.  The player base is growing in leaps and bounds, so match making just keeps getting better!  Still having fun! :)

Hambone gave me an introduction to team play last night.  I swear this game has really strong potential.  Don't prejudge this game based on past flight type games, the arcade version of the game puts it in a separate category imo.

Thanks Hammy! Had a good time, two short, but fun! :)

Sorry I missed you.  I had already gone to bed.  I leave my pc on pretty much 24/7. So a lot of times it looks like I'm online but actually I'm afk.  I've been building my countries pretty evenly, so it's slow going.  I'm up to level 8, and tier 3 and 4. Just Britain and Germany are tier 3.  I'm still really liking the game, even if they never added anymore to it, I still be happy.
