Lately playing this game I have been getting nauseous. Its from motion sickness viewing my 27 inch monitor. I can last about 20 minutes, then I want to puke and have to break.

It could be the refresh rate of the monitor...I've heard ppl going from 60 to 120hz can get headaches, eye straining and nausea.

My LED says it's at 60, but I heard its not critical on LED, not sure though.

if its digital, refresh rate doesnt exist (DVI, HDMI, DP, etc)... the setting may be there, but doesnt do anything.

I would bet its your eyes traveling further due to the larger screen, getting tired and causing motion sickness.  I would suspect that pushing through it and continued playing would probably make you become acclimated.

I tested it three times yesterday. Sat in front of the monitor in normal use and no effect. 20 minutes of L4D and nausea.

I use to get the same problem when I purchased my 24 inch monitor. I moved it deeper into the desk, about a foot and I could play longer, but still got that sick feeling after a few hours. It only happened in certain games where the action was heavy.
